How NOT to buy real brands on eBay
When a seller is offering “100% authentic Versace” shirt for only 19$, we all would know it’s a fake. However, to my total surprise I discovered that some do sell fakes for a high price. So how to tell?
First of all, don’t look at listings that use commercial photos from magazines, only photos of the concrete items you are going to buy, made in home / studio conditions. If we are talking about an expensive brand, it has to have MORE than one photo, showing the item from a few angles, including close-up photos. If the item is without tags, that should turn a red light on. New item has to have tags, so reason for loss could be either fake, or use, pre-owned or customer return item, and the question is, do you want it?
