Most shops world wise provide huge discounts for Xmas, and even though people would anyway buy certain products and gifts, why shops fight so much over the competition?

The answer is simple, not everyone buys in the first shop they come across. Most people are ell trained with shopping and compare before they buy, either online or just roaming from one shop to another, seeking the best gifts for the best prices. Maybe if you just need to buy one little lighter fr your boyfriend you will not think twice, but imagine you need to bring presents to 30 family members who will all be gathered under one roof over the holidays. This is why shops are wagging war against each other over the holiday… it’s all about giving a customer a discount, yet earning much more off the sales!
